ATC assisted in setting up an LLC along with much advice regarding purchasing my aircraft. The purchase went smoothly however, the Illinois Department of Revenue multiple years after owning my aircraft opened an inquiry in order to back charge me for flights to and from Illinois airports. My home hanger is in Wisconsin so I was unprepared for the rebuttal to the state. ATC jumped into action and immediately sent letters to the IL DOR and ultimately the query was closed without issue.
